CAPE TOWN: Last World Cup winners, Italy facing Paraguay later Monday evening in Cape Town. Paraguay has been billed as the holders’ toughest test in Group F and if Italy drop points here, the pressure will mount on them. The game will kick off at 20:30 (local time).
Italy is expected to sail through the group and make it to the Knock out stage without much problem, but Paraguay will likely be their strongest rival in the group. Paraguay with their lanky striker, Roque Santa Cruz will be their major threat up front.
Italy will be relying on their Goalie Gianluigi Buffon who is arguably the best keeper of his generation.
In the first match of the day Holland will play against Denmark, while in the second match of day Japan will face Cameroon.
