PSO Suspends Oil Supply to KESC

SINGAPORE : Pakistan State Oil (PSO) is seeking by tender up to 420,000 tonnes of low sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) and up to 910,000 tonnes of high-sulphur fuel oil (HSFO) for delivery in the second quarter, a tender document showed on Wednesday.

The fuel oil tender closes on March 30 and offers should be valid until April 2, it said.

PSO last bought up to 12 cargoes of HSFO of 65,000 tonnes each for March to April delivery, from Middle East trader Bakri at premiums of $19.00-$21.00 a tonne to Middle East spot quotes on a cost-and-freight (C&F) basis to Karachi.

It also bought another 360,000 tonnes of LSFO for February to April delivery at disclosed prices.

In the latest tender, PSO is also seeking up to 120,000 tonnes of 87-octane gasoline for delivery during the April-June quarter, the document showed.

The gasoline tender closes on March 29 and offers should be valid until March 31, it said.
