Mike Brown Fired

Latest news about Mike Brown Fired: Mike Brown is fired. Mike Brown is not fired. Mike Brown is fired. Which one is it? I keep seeing different sources advocating one or the other. According to “Sports Illustrated” Mike Brown, the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers is fired. According to “USA Today” Mike Brown is not fired. The Cavaliers’ owner Dan Gilbert is claiming that Mike Brown is NOT fired.

The only thing that we are certain of at this point is that Mike Brown’s abilities as a coach are in question. Gilbert states that Brown is currently going through an evaluation process. Supposedly Gilbert has made his decision (in favor of firing Brown) but has not revealed/acted upon it yet. If Brown is fired, is it for a valid reason? How can someone go from being the Coach of the Year in 2009 and fired in 2010? The Cavaliers were only eliminated from the playoffs Thursday night. Has this been happening for several years now? Who will be a good replacement for Brown? I’m afraid I do not follow as much of the NBA as I once used to.
