PCB Lifts Ban on Shoaib Malik, Fine Halved

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: The elite tribunal of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lifted a one-year ban on former captain Shoaib Malik and halved the fine to Rs 1 million.

The ban and fine were initially imposed for ill discipline during the team’s winless tour of Australia earlier this year.

Malik is among six players who have appealed against the fines and suspensions.

The selectors have already included Malik among 35 probable for next month’s Asia Cup and twin Test series against Australia and England.
