latest news about Jose Lima Dead: Jose Lima, of the Los Angeles Dodgers died of an apparent heart attack at age 37. Jose Lima who was a right handed pitcher for the Dodgers was a 20 game winner and an All Star during a 13 year career in the major leagues.

The Los Angeles Dodgers confirmed what ESPN first announced that Jose Lima is dead. Lima played 13 seasons for five teams: The Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, the Los Angeles Dodgers and in South Korea and Canada.

Jose Lima’s death comes as a shock for the Dominican Republic where he is from originally.

Lima Time as it came to be known was in 1999 when he was selected to the “All Star team.”

Everyone who played for and watched and love Jose Lima is shocked at this death.

In 1997-2001, he went 46-42 for the Houston Astros.

Thomas Jimenez, his manager said, “This is a shock for us because Lima was a young man seemed healthy and nobody imagined this.”
